Trust, God, and the Space Crane

Do you remember the movie “Toy Story”? Remember the arcade game “Space Crane” with the big claw that came down to choose which toy the child would get from the pile of little plastic aliens and other toys including the main characters, Buzz and Woody? The claw moves and it chooses who will stay and who will go.

In my life, I have felt like I was picked up by and moved a couple of times. How does trusting something greater than ourselves when we’re called to move happen? And when do we surrender and say “Ok, choose, me, I’ll go!”

Come and explore the theology of Toy Story, infinity, and beyond.
